At our salon, we’ve always strived to be more than just a place of just getting your hair did (iykyk), and being a place that centers community.... We have worked so hard to build a space where everyone, no matter their background or identity, can feel seen, heard, and celebrated. This summer, we were hit with a devastating setback when a contractor stole $80k from us, leaving us without a shop to move into to do our work out of at the end of our lease in July and forcing us to pour every last penny we had into completing our new space, amid absolutely mind-numbing delays and setbacks.

The chaos, delays, and frustration have been overwhelming, but we’re still standing—and it's thanks to the incredible support from people like you.
